Is plymouth still alive?

Postby Aetherium » Mon Jan 14, 2013 3:40 am

Ive been exploring around my claim for like 10-15 hours, havent seen even 1 claim, apart from the ones that have unpaid upkeep. Boston seems empty too, so are there any communities left in plymouth?

I see , from the server stats it seems that the game itself is pretty much dead :(, since the world is so huge its going to be impossible to meet any1 at all in the wilderness.
And from what ive read in forums it seems that devs/mods here really suck. Not only they dont do anything about bug abusers, they even encourage them. Any1 can explain me that farming bug every1 uses? if every1 is using it , might as well start using it too, just to be competetive

Sorry us bug abusers only let select people use them.

Plymouth is alive and well but way underpopulated. If you want the best bet of more people Roanoke and Jamestown are a ton better. Just being in boston on those servers is a better experience then Plymouth.

Got a question about some rumours about russian savages too, ive heard they have humours like 300+ or so, is that for real? ive been strugling to get humours to 20, still stuck at 12 phlegm.
Well if i moved to newer server, theres issue of reraising my humours and proeficiencys, ive got nearly half of the skills already so it would be awful to reraise them again, starting out is pretty tough

The farm "bug" isn't a big deal. It just lets you squeeze more farms into less space. Not what I would call a game-breaking exploit with the underpowered base defences we are provided with. You can do this yourself, by overlapping fields, without using the 1x1 client, that client just modifies the graphics for fields to make them render in a smaller area.

Humours in excess of 1,000 are possible.

A lot of people are still around, but most of Plymouth is underground for now, until the political situation there improves.

I wouldn't buy into all the bug talk on the forums. This is a beta, and people being people will use bugs to gain an advantage until they are fixed. Any exploit which is considered serious enough is met with swift action by the devs. The massive arguments on the forums often have many people with a low level of understanding and intelligence harping over petty issues that don't really matter, and making it seem as though they are game breaking exploits when they aren't.

Well 1st off don't be a idiot calling them savages. Actually talk and be nice and they more then likely will do the same. There is actually around 1000 of them now.

Numbers fluctuate between 50 and 300 on all servers, so I'd theorise at least 1,000. A lot more just after any content update.

It's not overly crowded, but if you walk around any of the servers for 10+ hours and you don't find a used claim you are either walking in circles or completely blind.
