From what I know, crops drain 2 out of 4 bars when growing, and they produce one. How do I start farming then, when I have none of those bars? Because from my point, it seems like it can't grow, thus i can't start farming.

Also, when reading forums, I often see "Chief PeePooKaka". Is he really that big in Plymouth that people have to pay treaties?

Crops increase 1 meter and drain other 3, not 2. It happens during harvest.
You don't need those meters to actually greow crops, those meters only determine type of product you get.
So with empty meters you get most basic product.

The meters are only used for the production of second and third tier crops. You can plant anything in a field, and it will still add to and subtract from the relevant bars, up to the point that you hit the maximum or minimum value for the bars.

I've added one question in my first post, and I also want to ask about fertilizers - can I put 10 of each or 10 total?

The wiki is in need of an overhaul. Keep it in mind when looking through the pages.

You can put infinite ammount of fertilizers. It's just that the more you put..the less effective it gets.

I noticed, but considering how many aspects of this game are pretty complicated for beginners, it explains just enough to be able to figure rest by yourself. And this makes this game fun for me

I'm curious about 'Chef', the personality he created on forums is intriguing. I kinda regret not playing on Plymouth, just to see how it is like, and how (if) I could stand against it

just so you know before you start going crazy with fertilizer, you only need 2000% influence to max the bar out that the crop boosts, as well the higher you make plenty the more overall crop you will harvest.
so if a typical 100 plenty crop of oatmeal (tier 1 cereal) is 4 ears of oats.. then 200+% would be 5+ ears of oats that can be used to make more seeds or flour.

crops require 2 meters that they drain (its on the wiki) before you can gain another type of crop. fill 2 meters then play cereal for example will give you rye/ barley or wheat until you have the feed meters filled to above 50 points you will only ever get oatmeal from the crop.


oh and bird poop is a pretty useless fertilizer (least early on do to its lower benefits which only lower other fertilizers as well)
