You need to make a claim stone and set your homestead as that. Then they can use the guides to enter your secret and spawn at you

They can walk to your claim if you group them. They will see arrows over their heads now and then pointing in your direction while you are grouped.

Yea I found that out, but I'm afraid the place im in will be too far. I have no idea how big is the map, dont want to ask him to walk for 15 - 30 minutes. And also realised settling out in a party is not available yet.

It shouldn't take too much time. If you live in or near a forested area, you should be able to find a few Salem Wiki: Singing Old Logs - these are all that are required to get your skills up enough to unlock and obtain Salem Wiki: Settling. A thorough search of Hollow Stumps in your area may help you gather enough silver to buy the writ of homesteading - rattler skins sell for 4 silver in Jamestown.

To expand on Dageir's reply, you can use the map to help them figure out where you live as well, if they decide to walk to you (link in my signature). Use the blue arrows and your minimap to narrow down where they need to go - though walking may take more time, as they will need to go around rivers and cliffs.

Just a PS: This game is not one for quick solutions, so the best option might get settling and make a claim and have them come another day.

I actually got a place in a coniferous/forested area, I see these logs every but I can't chop them up? I think need to carry them to a chopping block or whatever its called? I have no idea.

Oh also, where can I find a full map of Jamestown? I'm trying to find those grass to make hay but I have no idea where I should be headed.
