I know its still in beta but is there no music or anything while you are walking around other then the few little sound effects they have in the game?

No music in the game, thankfully. There is a very annoying fiddle player in Boston, but he's been quiet for a few days now, yay!

I hope for ambient sounds.

Yes atleast I would like there to be sounds of cutting down a tree. Blacksmithing etc. Would do alot for community feeling if you actually could hear your friends working around you.

I just wish the turkeys didn't make noise.

You know, sometimes I kill them just to shut them up. :p

Lumberjacking noises and such would be nice to have though.

Tree cutting and pickaxe and sounds like that would be nice, so long as the sound doesn't carry further than the visibility of the player on the map. I think sounds from bears and such are limited to that range already...

I for one am very happy that they did not put treechopping sounds in. It annoyed me pretty much in H&H

I know this feeling very well

Ambient sounds and subtle work sounds would be nice. I prefer my own music to most game music.

There are combat sounds, and sounds from some animals.
