Proficiencies

All of my proficiencies only go up to 500. I need to learn skills that require 500+ of certain ones. How do I "upgrade" this?

When a bar fills completely (turning green) you can click on that prof. bar to level it up (giving you now 600). Keep in mind when you level up a prof. or buy a skill all the earned credit in all bars will go back to empty.
