When building objects, do they have to be entirely within your claim to be undestroyable by others or just partially?

If the "main part" of the building is in your claim, you should be alright.

If any part is off the claim or a player can stand off the claim and hit the object, they won't leave evidence of a crime. Also, if parts of a building are off a claim, they are subject to decay and will require frequent repairs.
