Could the Blackberry bushes be bugged? I remember being able to pick berries from 1 bush when I started playing, but after that none I have come over have been pickable. And I have had some looong walks into the wilderness, and come across at lot of bushes. Anyone how can confirm it?

It takes like a month for them to respawn.

Damn, that was a long time...

I'm not sure about the month thing, but they do re-spawn. I've picked mine clean repeatedly and every week I find more growing here and there.

I have the same problem: I can never pick berries. I appear to be in an area that is uninhabited except for me because a) never see other players, b) can pick maple leaves easily, and c) no one has stolen or destroyed my claim (yet). I also don't seem to be able to harvest cuttings. Could this be related to a lack of a scroll bar (seems like reaching, but stranger things have happened).

You don't have tree planting skill and blackberries take a long time (if ever) to grow.

Blackberries seem to grow back randomly so sometimes it takes a very long time for them to grow back. People who study as they wander also tend to like eating blackberries so they can become depleted without anyone actually living around you.

They seem to regrow similar to the filling of old trunks: through the decay ticks.

Also note that while a bush can carry up to 5 blackberries, you will need all of the foraging skills to harvest those. The ones for the highest foraging skill seem to respawn first, I have found (some characters can pick them while others can't).
