Field Preping and Purity

Does humus purity used in preping a field affect the purity of plants from that field?
I noticed that humus purity seems to change the purity of "wild oats" you get from a field, but it doesn't seem to change my crops themselves. So is high purity humus needed for farming, or is it only useful for gardening?
P.S.
To clarify, I already have heard that fertilizer purity doesn't change crop purity, I'm specifically talking about field prep humus.

No it does not.
The only reason to make purity humus is for grinding potted plant purity, like garlic, beaming sunflowers etc.

KK, thank you very much. Guess I can stop killing myself trying to keep all my fields loaded with good humus.

field prep shouldnt effect crop purity as its not actually being used as a fertilizer in that regard. now if you are using it as a fertilizer i could see it effecting purity but the 2-5 humus field prep i cant see effecting a crop, as there are no crops currently planted when you do the prep.

Fertilizer purity affecting crop purity was taken out about a month after Plymouth opened.
