Lard farming only from Fire?

Greetings,
Can you only get LARD from a basic Fire ?
Or is it possible to get LARD from Bread Ovens, Meatsmoker, Stoves

Think of it like this,
you can get lard from hand cooked foods. (any type of open fire used)
You cannot get lard from smoked, baked, or rested foods.

rested foods give gingerbread men when you're making the dough though :3
