just woundering why the purity dropped so much.

i bought cereal seeds at 56% pure planted them on an existing field. i harvested this crop all still had about 56 purity. i made seeds 56 pure then planted all those seeds on new freshly tilled fields when i harvested these crops all purity fell bellow 3 percent. i didn't mix the seeds and noted when i planted that they were at 56 %.

can anyone explain why that happened

These seeds must been mixed, or it would be ''bad'' luck.

Could be that you had seeds left in your inventory and that these mixed everything up, did you made enough seeds for a next harvest ?

yeah i seeded the whole crop so i had about 200 seeds. if mixing the seeds is the only explanation then it must be that. really not sure what happened i completely re did my homestead moved lots of stuff around. may have grabed the wrong seeds or mixed them oh well. i have 50 seeds left so ill be more carefull this time.

Bad luck. I've seen 90%+ pure seeds drop into the 70% range before.

yeah, like the seeds you sold me 75 to 54, but then we're just talking about 20 %, he lost 53% ill bet winning the lottery will happen more often.

The % purity is meaningless. Look at the alchemical values, you can get + or - 5. In the high purity ranges, that's a large % difference due to the formula.

The end result can drop more than 5 and jump higher than 5.
