I created an alt, joined the wrong server with him. Is there a way to delete the character, or transfer him to another server?

At the present moment no, simply make your new character on your intended sever and try again

You will be able to transfer when they enable it. To delete a character you need to get it killed. If its plymouth thats no problem.

Oh, well, the thing is I really like the name. If it were just a matter of making another character I would have done it already.

If the character dies, is the name subsequently freed up? Perhaps I'll go outside of the town and ask someone to murder me, ha. Any experts on euthanasia around?

No, you can never have a character with the exact name on the same account...but you could put a space at the end of it to make it look the same ;p

Okay, so here it is, in short. I have a character named Dude. I created Dude II (Dude the Second) and joined the wrong server. Created Dude III and joined the correct server.

So you're saying if Dude II is killed, I couldn't subsequently re-claim the name? That's it for him? I'd have to do Dude II[SPACE] to get it to work? =|

You can do that now but you wont inherit a claim.

Sorry, been away for a bit. Poor choice of terminology, I suppose.

I have a claim on my main character Dude. I created "Dude II", but he's on another server. I want to get rid of "Dude II" in some fashion so I can re-create him on the proper server. Will getting Dude II killed allow me to re-create him on the proper server?

You wouldn't be able to grab his inheritance, or reuse the name "Dude II"
