Criminal Scent & KO, Question

If someone is KO'D on a claim, and is murdered, does the scent remain at the point of Death? Who then is/are the scents visible to?

If you murder someone KO'ed (even on your claim) you'll leave summonable evidence. It's visible to anyone with tracking turned on.

Scents aren't guarenteed to be visible either. You can "reroll" them by entering and exiting the area until you see them.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

When someone came onto my claim, killed my toon, and looted my stuff, there were scents all over afterwards.

The Assault and Murder scents was at the actual site of the killing.

The Larceny scents were near each container they opened and rifled through

There were also Larceny scents at the edge of my claim on the outside where they entered. (Should those not be "Trespassing?")

Location the crime was committed from. So underneath the feet of the murderer actually.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

When a scent is picked up - can someone else pick it up?

Does anyone know generally how long scents last? I think I've seen posts where people said they used a scent that was over a month old, does that mean a scent they had already picked up? Or do scents on the ground last that long?
