Salem

Hello there!

I was playing Salem a while, got my hut of branches, drying frames, tanning tub and such. So i've logged in this morning just to check if my autumn delights are baked in the fireplace and found that some of buildng are destroyed including the hut (not mentioning that all the stuff is stolen).

So now i wonder - if I'll teleport to Boston, I won't be able to come back to this place since there's no hut, right?
Would i have another free travel with a trapper to another random place from Boston now? Or i'll have to pay 30 slver to him?

I assume you mean leanto? Did you have a claimstone? it could be possible that it decayed. Also turn on tracking and see if there are any scents.

If you teleport to boston you'll have to pay 30silver for new teleport to wilderness or you can just walk from Boston.

As mentioned it is most likely that you either got robbed (since stuff is gone) or you got hit by an extremely bad case of random decay. I think the first is much more plausible than the latter.

If you want to be able to teleport back and forth to your current location it is as simple as building a lean-to. Don't forget to right click it and set it as your new homestead.

In the case that you want to track the people who robbed you there's an option in the Adventure menu called "Toggle Tracking". Use this to see if there are any scents left (if you had the stuff claimed that is).

I recommend that you set a personal claim over your next base as that prevents a lot of the random thiefs that wander around Salem. :)

Yeah, more seems like a robbery, since in case that was a decay - it have dacayed all of my stuff except Puritan's hat...

No scents around... They must have disappeared since a an RL day has passed since the robbery.

Actually it's pretty easy to find a new place to settle while wandering the world. Just look for water, a forest, and possibly a lime deposit if you can find one. Other nearby biomes are a plus. (and don't plop down right on top of small biomes, because that affects respawn rate)
