If your planning on having a Mega Super Duper Uber Large Claim of absolute land grabbing .. whats the cheapest upkeep cost way of doing it ?
A Personal Claim or a Town Bell ?

Don't use townbells for anything. it isn't worth it. Pump out a bigass pclaim

Right now pclaim is definitely cheaper and better.
Edit: Stax is right I didn't think about the cost of buy tiles for expansion.
But hopefully sometime soon that will change. They definitely need a complete overhaul of the claim system because IMO it's utter ***** atm.

Also remember if you're not using vanilla, enders and apxe let you zoom out. So the question is pretty dependent.

As for which claim is cheaper...the village claim is cheaper. You have to pay for additions to a personal claim as you expand. With a village claim you just need to build more authority objects to expand it. The upkeep for both is about the same with a pclaim being slightly cheaper.
With that being said, If you use a village claim then anybody can tresspass and walk around freely on your land with out triggering activated brazier fire. As things stand right now, a personal claim provides much better defense than a village claim.
