Im trying to find my claim again and I know i found this village relatively near it. Does anyone know anyone from that town? Id pay if I can find my claim again from it.

Why not just drop everything in your bag and teleport home? That's the best way to return if you're truly lost.

Shiala's suggestion is the appropriate method for getting home if lost. You do keep your equipment on tp after all. If you've foraged, just wait around and use up what you've found first.

Shiala's suggestion is the appropriate method if as you thought the wilderness guide only just spawned you a random spot like he advertised, and not also removed your homestead while it laughing manicly.

So the real story is that you used the wilderness guide to spawn you to a random location without understanding that it created a new leanto homestead in the process? Well, I guess you won't make that mistake again. If you were trying to get home to your original leanto homestead, why would you even get a spawn from the wilderness guide in the first place? Did you think he was going to give you a lift home? Hopefully you now understand how the wilderness guide actually works and that the real way to fast travel is by using the travel abilities under Adventure --> Travel.

Thanks for the condescending tone, no i didnt think he would give me a lift home. I thought he would teleport me to a random spot so i could see what other biomes had to offer and I could then teleport home and consider if it would be better to settle my Alt there. But apperantly i missed some fine print somewhere that said it cost 30S + everything i owned and had.

I'm sorry if you feel I was being condescending. You weren't really very clear in your OP about what really happened.

I understood and thought about the information i was given, which was exactly that he would teleport me to a random spot, it said NOTHING about removing my current homestead. So no, I did not understand information i was never given, what a surprise. It must be wonderfull being as Omniscient as you.

Nothing to do with being omniscient which yes i am. The entire purpose of that NPC is to give you a leanto away from boston. One would think that the NPC they used b4 would do the exact same thing it did last time.
