Trying to destroy a pilgrim hovel

I'm building a new house and don't want a pilgrim hovel in the middle of my claim, I tried destroying it but it didn't go above 0% after draining my entire phlegm bar. I don't understand how destroy works with phlegm, but the higher your phlegm the more damage you do, right? How much phlegm would I need to be able to destroy it?

Buildings have a "soak" value, if your current phlegm is below this, then you deal no damage to the building. You will do damage quicker the greater the amount of phlegm you have. I don't know what the soak level is for a pilgrims hovel.
