Came across this unknown gravel looking type of land. Ive attempted to dig it with both a metal shovel and a wooden shovel no luck i also cannot build over it *fence post* or pave if anyone knows what exactly this is and how i can dig it up and or remove it all together please leave some information id greatly appreciate it

Its just second type of beach. You can't remove it.

So no options for building over it ?

Nope. You wouldn't want to anyway, it's fairly limited in size and it's got good foragables, so it'd be a shame to destroy it.
