Salem character log in screen problems

i cant see my main in character selection anymore and i wasn't killed at all i logged out at 7 am and when i logged back in it was gone and i ended all the java process after i logged out and quit the game so can anyone please help me i really want to play with my main again i was so far on it too

Did you take anything from other people claims? Did you have 'crime' debuff in left top corner when you logged out? Were you in combat(any portrait in top right corner? (vs animal for example)).

no to both questions i wasn't in crime or anything just at my homestead at my lean to i logged off there and when i came back on my main character was gone i only see my alt now

You are most likely dead unfortunately. I logged off my main recently went and did some chores came back and found the character gone from list and found my main dead. Best bet is to make a new character and see if you can inherit to make certain.

you have left a scent somewhere or you logged out with a player agro. those are the only ways you could of died

Create new char and one of NPCs will let you inherit old char claim. If you can inherit=char died.

i wasn't attacking anything and nothing was attacking me and there was no players near me no animals either and whats weird is that i can still add my main and see her on the map
