Bear, fear

Postby Judaism » Mon Dec 03, 2012 10:51 pm

A bear doesn't drain your BB at 50or higher -> fear, if thats right the distance doesn't matter and the roar neither drains the BB right ?

Question: So with some time you technaly could kill a bear with a gun from across the river (deep water), without losing BB ?

From bear hunters who told me: They *used* to do it because the bear fear has a range. They could shoot the bear outside the fear range and take no BB loss.

The rest of what you said is all news to me. Mechanics could have changed since then.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

You take fear drain regardless what your current/max BB is. You just need high enough humours to be able to regen through the fear.

I think that at 50 BB you no longer get fear debuff from normal attacks. At least I usually don't. But roar still does give me debuff. And the stunning attack too.

Have you noticed the fear levels decreasing? If the "heal through it" mantra is true, then you should be seeing an effect.

Yeah like that, it won't work out with 60 BB but you could do it with something around 100, but that makes no sense because you can kill it with your sword then :)
