Homestead disappeared.

Postby Weqinas » Sat Dec 01, 2012 1:08 am

I know there is a similar post below, but I just relogged in and my leanto/homestead has disappereared.
I don't know decay rate of leanto, but I havn't been playing that long, and didn't see any indication that it was decaying.

I cannot travel to 'Boston' with a full inventory and need my inventory to buy the Writ of Homesteading. I could walk there but I have no idea where 'Boston' is.

Is there any information or help for this problem?

Will greatly appreciate anything.

Need to learn hiking and build a new lean-to.

You need to build another lean-to and make it your homestead. Then you may port to Boston.

Decay is very random. I've seen leantos decay after a couple of days. if you don't check your leanto often it will disappear, decay. (You can tell by looking at it. It gradually gets darker in colour which means it's decaying. You can then of course repair it with woodblock.)

If you are out in the wilderness you can just build another leanto which requires the skill 'Hiking'. Easy to make, only 2 hay and 10 woodblock.

Alternatively, you can walk there, party with someone you know who will go to town so you can see the direction of the arrow. I don't know if that would work right now since the buddy system is bugged.
