Seems that your leanto was not on claim and it decayed or some bored guy was passing by and 'vandalised' it.
You have to find your way back on foot or start at new place.

Doesn't work that way. Your leanto is gone, but if you can wander back to that spot the rest of your homestead should be intact (if it wasn't raided).

Claim stones can't have this happen without a lot of money spent by a player.

If it was a raider then you should be happy. He might have killed you!You still have your char! Think positive!
If you don't know how to get back there on foot then there is no other way.
