No, not by normal means. There are only two ways of removing one:

1. Owner decides to declaim it via the "Declaim" button on claim window

2. A town can forcibly remove a personal claim that is on the town claim if they have enough authority. It costs twice as much silver to declaim an area as has been invested into expanding it.

If your Claim area is big enough, will that make it close to Impossible for a Town Takeover?

And does the Town have to be grown as big as the claim they are trying to take over?

In theory, no, you can never have a personal claim too big to be forcibly removed, though you can make it large enough nobody is going to mess with it.

No, the town doesn't have to be as big. Towns have what is called "authority" that slowly drains over time. One point of authority is equal to one silver, so the town just has to have enough authority (or in other words, enough silver stored up in the town bell).

Yes, claimed lean-to's are destroyable. You'll need Waste and you'll leave scents unless it's on a personal claim you have permissions on.

Scents always appear at the exact location the crime took place.

Those bits of evidence you might find floating around in the city are usually ones people brought in from somewhere and dropped for someone else to pick up and use to compare.

How long do scents stay ingame?

And another question on the whole town thing, does the town have to claim land that is owned by the target's personal claim? How much would they need, 1 Tile and they can do a takeover?

The length a scent lasts depends on the type. No, I don't have numbers and I haven't seen anyone else report them.

Just 1 tile is enough as long as the mayor of the town can stand on the target claim. (If I recall the mechanic correctly.)

So if i have a 500 m2 area of land, all it takes is another person with a Town Bell, placing it near covering 1 tile, then having stored up 500 silver to take it over?
