Question about digging / flattening

Postby Zinik » Thu Nov 29, 2012 7:15 am

So, I set my claim and expanded a bit a while ago and now I'm finally ready to start leveing my spot out a bit. I ran into an issue where the claim marker is actually not on a level tile and I can't seem to dig or flatten the tiles adjacent to the claim marker. Is there a way around this? A way to move my claim marker to a different spot?

The only way to move your claim stone is by declaiming it. You won't get any money back and you will have to buy another writ+spend the silver again to expand it.

I just learned to live with it. Worst case, you put a tilled field over the area that isn't flat or use it as a walkway.

On my first claim, I decided that it was easier to have a two level compound (so I didn't have to move as much dirt) and incorporated the claim stake tile slope into the slope between the levels. On my second claim, I forgot about it and coped again...maybe the next claim I will be smarter and plan the leveling before laying the claim.

Well thats a bummer, maybe the dev's will give us options later to scoot the marker around.

I was already digging around the marker, figuring there wasn't a way but wanted to make sure. Thanks for the replies!
