Do I understand correctly, that fastest way to high purity seeds is just plant as much fields as you can and use only humus and wood choppings?

Plant as many fields as you want, use whatever fertilzers you want, and when you harvest just choose the ones you want to replant that are moving towards the element you are looking for.

If you are just aiming at purity, you probably want to fertilize for speed and maybe a bit of plenty depending on how many fields you are devoting to a single crop and purity element -- this is just to shorten the grind.
