Do corpses of big animals disappear with time?

If the map unloads. Stored inside houses, leantos, or sleds they current last forever I believe. They have no internal decay timer.

Store them in a missive fridge (mine), room enough and they won't decay !

They do not last forever when stored in a sled, however they last well over a week, perhaps over two.
