Do you guys know how to get Boards?

Hi, i started this game yesterday,
im living life to the full ,but it is hard to play without advices about boards
i searched wiki and forum, i cant find any answers
i learned Carpentry but, where is boards
plz tell me how to get boards :O

To get boards:
Build a Sawbuck (2 Nails, 5 Woodblocks).
Chop down a tree, go afk for 20 minutes, come back, pick up log.
Cart log over to Sawbuck, right-click Sawbuck while still holding the log, it places log on Sawbuck.
Right-click Sawbuck, make boards.

Tada, you have boards. :p

Chop down a tree, come read these forums or wiki on a minimised window (so you can still see the radar) and bug the devs for a bloody saw! for 5 minutes, come back, pick up log.
