How can you tell which way a gate will open, inward, or outward when facing it during building it?

it opens outwards from whichever direction you are facing I seem to think? It doesn't have a hitbox for that though so it's not something you need to worry about.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.
