Rule change for help forums: Read all yeh posters

It's come to my attention that the Help! forum is the place where the most vulnerable noobs will be. More so than any other forum. It's also come to my attention that finding confused people here, it's probably easy to lure them away to killing camps or trick them in general.

As a result, I asked Moo to add a "No Sharking" rule:
- No requesting of in game location, or offering town invites.

That's for the recruitment forums. Nothing's happened, but I'd rather have the rule in place now to prevent it happening. When open beta comes this community is probably going to grow very fast so we need a good framework to use lest the whole thing start collapsing faster than the mods can patch it up.

If care packages really must be given, boston more than suffices for that purpose.

Edit: I suppose server info is something I'll budge on if it's useful to know for some problems.

Sometimes server matters, depending on question.

And while we're at it - maybe it would be good to write in FAQ that any screenshots should not include minimap for the poster's safety.

I'm willing to budge over that particular. The rule is "no requests for location", and if you think server matters I'll edit that in the original post.

Big problem: The noobs who are likely to post screenshots are the ones who don't read the FAQ in the first place.

Added to the faq like you suggested. The really important stuff like that should be in the most accessible place to get the "don't enjoy reading" types to look at it if at all possible.
