Milk of lime

How do I make a 2.5% solution of lime in water?
and is it required to be 2.5 to tan hides or can I use lower?

left click lime, right click bucket full of water. The initial concentration is enough.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

You only need to add one lime to a full 10.0 L bucket of water to make milk of lime at 1%. Then you can use that to lime four hides.

If you want you can add additional lime to the bucket to make it a higher % of concentration from 1-5%, and I believe that will give you a higher purity leather in the end. Don't know why you would really want to though, guess it would make a higher purity stuffed leather ball or woo-woo-wand. Don't know how much it's worth it, never really tested it out.

Have you tested that? I've never heard nor experienced that. Full concentration lime just gives leather and wastes lime last I checked.

Nope I haven't, I was just assuming if it was possible to add extra lime there must be a reason. Guess I should stop doing that.

I was wondering about that myself, I have a theory that this mechanism comes from the time when there were purity nodes and adding high purity lime would indeed increase the purity of leather.
