Alright, so just wanted to get some information regarding homesteads and claims. I currently own a claim 1000m² with about 4-5 leanto shelters on it that belong to good friends. Now the main concern of mines is will i be able to do the same thing when i get ready to build pilgrim hovels or Farm Houses (4-5) because currently everything works beautifully with the leantos my friends can settle on the claim and we can play together without little to no issue, will we be able to do the same thing with houses or will they need to purchase there own individual claims near by. Any information regarding this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

No diffrence , but houses cant be claimed far as i know leantoo's can , built 2 houses the settler and farmhouse neither can be locked either (yet), more like giant storage house and for stove ect.

If the Leanto is destroyed will one of my friends still be able to fast travel to my own personal claim ? or is the leanto the only thing that is linking them to my specific claim of land. Also if i decide to build a house will they be able to use it without issues, id assume there wouldn't be any problems if they would be able to still Fast travel to the claim but if in fact removing the leanto removes there link to the land or there homestead option i would think this wouldn't be possible.

Leantoo i have no idea , house is just like everything else no special perms needed to enter it if you are already allowed on land.

Only the leanto can be claimed allowing them to port directly to it. They would otherwise have to build a stake claim nearby if you wanted to destroy the leantos. Houses are buildings they don't have any special permissions or locks(yet). Anyone you allow onto your claim will be able to enter them.

Well the Houses itself cant be locked, but the Cupboards and Chests inside with their own locks and keys.
If u want to hold a claim "forever" for your friends near you, so they could be summoned back there if they die in example, then u should build up more than 1 claimstone.

You might want to start planning your village layout now so that you and your friends can create a rational layout of farms and workshops. Laying out roads that let you all get to the outside world and to each other's claims would be worthwhile -- all with the aim of eventually creating a town which will allow for mutual defense and a sense of accomplishment (and a money sink, but we don't talk about that).
