So I have been to the darkness before on my character, and that tooltip popped up to warn me about the darkness, etc. My question is, does that show up everytime you enter the darkness? My friends and I want to settle on the border of the darkness, but I'm afraid that we might accidentally setup our homestead INSIDE the darkness and get insta-KOd anytime we revive there due to humours draining upon reviving and reviving with 0 blood.

nope you wont get that every time. If you do get ko spam teleport to boston and forage or have someone drop off food.

The border of the darkness does not hurt your humour, just dampens the regeneration rate.
