I've logged into my charter and they loaded with literally nothing, no clothes, no inventory, no equipment. The first character this happened to died of madness. Now i have tried to play another character on this account and it done the same thing, every time i try to log out it displays "you cannot log out right now" what do i do? should i just abandon that account and make a new one because it keeps happening? how do i fix this?

your homestead has been destroyed, and your character will lost everything(all the clothes, inventory and equipment on that character) because of that
just build a Stake Claim or a Leanto, set it as your homestead and you can play again.

Having more that just a leanto, like, a claim with walls and locked doors, and paying the claim(!), helps a lot to prevent waking up naked in town.
