For some reason, after harvesting, some of my fields jump all the way up to 600% upkeep.

Is there any reason why this happens? So far I just destroyed the field and redid it, but I can't really gather up any influence on the field that way...

comes from crows pecking your field, get a scarecrow up to keep them away

Is there any way to get a scarecrow other than buying the Harvest Pack on the store?

you can build a "questionably effective scarecrow" from glass, it has a smaller radius. doesnt seem to be a wiki entry for it though, so im not sure what skills are required to unlock it
