KIlled by a snake

Just lost my character to a snake , normally they knock me out but this time i died and lost my character, didn,t even know this was possible .... anyone enlighten me what could have made this happen cos want to avoid a repeat....thnx in advance

Were you in darkness?
Are you sure it wasn't some player who killed you? Like you got knocked, went AFK to make tea or something, in the meantime other player came, murdered, and when you came back you were in login screen?

no was online running from a snake near my homestead didn,t even get the knocked out animation just straight died, didnt see anyone else around either though was concentrating on the snake

If you were running from a snake then it means you weren't fighting it? Did snake hit you right before you died? Were you poisoned?

There is also a possibility that you commited criminal acts in the past, someone tracked you to your lean-to, destroyed it, and summoned you on the ground causing ou to instantly die. Although I'm not sure if it's possible while you are online. But have you commited any summonable criminal acts?

was poisoned , no criminal acts that i,m aware of certainly never stolen anyhting or killed anyone and i,m not allowed to trespass onto peoples claims yet. Also when made new character homestead was still there for me to inherit

and now just to rub it in i can`t get past log in screen ! says can`t connect to server

Well, there were some bugs reported about poisoning.

So, 2 questions left - did you die from poison, as in was your phlegm 0 on your death?
Were you in the darkness, at least partial? In case you are not sure about that - do you play on Plymouth? If yes, do you know where on map were you?

ok was getting close to zero but don,t think i was there yet.. i,m no expert but pretty sure not in darkness, light levels normal no humour drain just a normal autumnal area , a few people with homesteads nearby....don,t play on plymouth, it,s the Raonoke map if i spelt that right lol

When you said you can't log in now, have you been able to access your account since? Have you seen the login page minus your character?

I'm curious if you got DCed the same time the snake got you and made it look like death. DC kicks you straight to login.

no i died by snake started new character inherited my stuff played for about 5 or 10 min then game wouldn`t let me in for half hour or so....all ok now playing again on new character, my original char is long gone : a bear just knocked out this char but no death thank god When i couldn,t play game it would let me to char selection screen but no further, but as i said sorted itself out
