I have granted permissions to kin, but none of them can do anything with the writ stone. So does my homestead eventually run out of money than anyone can place another stone? Or how to I get an alt to own it?

You create another character and in the character creation area, not tutorial, you simply talk to the inheritance npc and inherit the dead char's estate. Your new char will own all pclaims and the homestead of the old one. Not the keys though so i hope you have copies of the master key on alts

I think anyone who can reach the claim stone can load silver in to it, though
