Yes. KO, pick, check. That's the only "common" way to obtain them, as far as i know.
Maybe you still can find those super rare red easter eggs to hatch a hen. But i bet you'll find a hen by punching wild turkeys way faster.
You also can buy them on the forum.

You cant find Red easter eggs unless the event is runing.
They have a couple of days timer before they hatch (I think arround 4 days or so) and if no one collects the Fertile hen it will just die.
Thats why you see dead wild turkeys in stumps.

Best way is to wait for easter events, they are the only event that have been around yearly since ever, at around those times salem floods with fertile turkeys from red eggs
