Can't Lock My House

As the title states, I just picked up locksmithing, which says you can lock doors chests and gates, but I cannot lock my houses.

yes, I built a lock, and applied a master key to it, but it won't allow me to lock the house. I have managed to successfully lock all of my gates, and I can do it with my chests as well, but I cannot lock my houses

Currently only gates and some containers can be locked, locking houses will have to wait until lockpicking is implemented.
