Anyone know bait for oysters? or if this is true at all?

From my experiance shellfish catch is pretty random. And every couple of weeks the number of possible shellfish on that spot gets rerolled.
Like, i have 2 lobster spots and sometimes they give huge ammounts of lobster for couple of weeks and other times they give **** ammounts for couple of weeks.
Makes me believe that they kinda migrate but in essence only the number of possible lobsters gets reroled and you get something random. I would guess that its the same for any other shellfish.
I may be wrong, never had the exact numbers.

What do you use as bait?

People say there is difference with bait but honestly i dont give a **** about that.
