1. can rare thornbush flowers still be retrieved through pulling thorns or is it only from when they flower/ if it can be pulled through thorns what rate is it?
2. is the cotton cloth going to go back up to 15 silver per or it staying at 10 and is there a new use for bulk cloth as there is someone buying any amounts at 12 per.

Best way to find thorn flowers is by sheer volume of viewing bushes on a cricket mount. Yes you can still pick them from plucking thorns, but my results show its faster to just watch for flowers.
EDIT: had to check notes, last time i pulled thorns for flowers was back in the fall, I think I averaged 1 flower per 500 thorn or so. The mechanic very well could have changed now, as I just look for the flower.
Cotton will most likely always be 10s now.

1. Yes, but very rarelly.
2.Jc lowered the ammount of silver gained per cotton cloth so he is the only one who could tell you if the price will go up again. For all we know that guy maybe needs trash cotton for various crafts and its to bothersome for him to craft it.

crosses of saint george need a lot of cotton - although I find I'm limited more by leather than by cotton for those.
That said, the person may simply not be aware/not be active anymore ?
