hey,
i got this problem, i try to open my crafting window and it w'ont open.
first i had this problem with the simple little crafting window, then i used the "outo crafting window", and now even this big window is gone..i press to open it and nothing...
so i can't do crafting.

i delited the game and re download it, and it still doesn't work.

i tryed the old simple client, and there the crafting window work. but i can't play like that any more.

what can i do?

Did you change your display resolution? Perhaps you normally play on a laptop with a high-resolution remote display? The location of the crafting window is "remembered" by the client, if I recall correctly, and if it was somewhere else in pixel space the last time you used it (before, perhaps playing on a high-resolution display), then it is probably still there resting safely upon pixels which are not viewable to you.

a friend told me to go to the program in my computer and change the numbers of the line saying "crafting_pos to (100,100), so i saw it was like (789, 670) or somthing and i changed it to (100,100).

more details: "go into c:\users\yourusername\salem\ and edit "windows.conf" with notepad' or wordpad(better).
change the numbers to (100,100), on that line that says "crafting_pos".
[i had a second line that says: craft/ etc, i change it too to (100, 100) and all was fixed].

if you're feeling particularily lazy, you can just delete windows.conf and it will forget all windows locations (this also includes toolbelts and the like).
And yes, I need to finally fix windows opening off-screen
