By empty, he meant empty of silver not empty of items. An "empty" or available stall will not have a blue tarp on it's roof. It'll look distinctly different from the other stalls.

They don't open up as often as you'd think. I've seen as many as 3 open up in a week this last fall and I'd say at least 2 a month open up from what I've seen. It's random chance depending on the rent not being payed and you need to just check every once in awhile and hopefully you'll get lucky. They vary in initial rental cost depending on how close to the square they are. The near ones can cost upwards of 25,000s while even the cheapest ones are 10,000s to initially rent so start saving up.

A stall in the third row from the sea costs 5000s to rent. IIRC the one closer to the sea is even cheaper.

Why do you keep posting wrong information in help?

Stalls open all the time. Especially now that if people don't use them then rent gets jacked up. Check them every time you log on. I always seemed to have good luck buying them around 7-9am CST. I dunno if thats when rent is deducted but I've gotten around 5+ stalls bought for myself or others this way. At one point everyone in GT had a stall or 2.

Your pricing is also incorrect as usual. OP save 10-20k+ for a stall near the middle. I unfortunately can't remember how the normal stalls are grouped and can't find the post that had most of the information in it but it's floating around here somewhere. I think I bought my stall for 5k but it's been around 2 years since that happened. The once near town will all have weird ass prices if they stay at the price they were bought from auction. I think the lowest I saw those go for was 2k and highest was like 40k.

Just save and trade through the forums for silver. Check the market every day for a stall without a blue tarp on it. It will happen fairly quickly once you check them often during your playtime.

I've seen a single available stall, it was 4K I think? I didn't have the silver to buy it and by the time I did have it an hour later, it was gone. They get snapped up by crafty businessmen and change hands all the time. Claeyt did get one thing right though (it's info any noob can get through cursory research), an available stall does look different. It won't have an awning on it. It'll just look like a wooden frame on a display counter.
