You need to lime the hide (i believe any concentration over 1% of milk of lime works) and then you take that limed hide and put it into taning tub.
Taning tub holds 100 litres which is enough to make 10 Lhides into leather.
Putting a brain into a bucket full of water(10l one) will result into making taning fluid of 5% concentration.
Clearly Biliardfun needs more help than simply clarifying the leather making process. Here we have an opportunity to set Biliardfun's world right-side-up and provide information that will forever change a pilgrim's life, yet Zodd presents a disjointed response that barely gets our new adventurer out the door.
To Biliardfun: No, the leather making process described in this 4+ year old thread is no longer accurate. I suggest you use
http://salemwiki.info. In this particular case,
http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Leather would give you information and links that describe terms, processes, and outcomes associated with leather.
The wiki is not always correct or complete, but it is a resource you should be using frequently.
