Salem

I tried creating a separate account a while ago by using a different email address.
Salem added it to my current account. Now that I have a homestead,
I'd like to give an alt a key to the gates and rights to my claim, even if I have to create yet another alt.
Any suggestions or instructions on how to go about this? You can probably tell I'm not tech-gifted.

Open two clients.

you can also get your 2 char to the same area, log on the alt, close the game, log on the main right away and use the key on the alt, drop key and log back on alt to pick up. If you do it fast enough your alt should still be in game

This is much simpler

When I tried to open up Salem twice I get the message above.
I'll try the suggestion to quickly log out my main and log in my alt.

Being able to have 2 instances of Salem running at once would be ideal though.

You said that you have 2 accounts. You log on one account and then the other.

Tried creating a 2nd account using a different email address but Salem simply added the new alt to my current account,
so I still only have one account. Maybe Salem looks at my IP instead of email accounts.

I have 4+ accounts on one email and dont intentionally change my ip or mac. You more than likely never logged on your new account.

To do what you want just log on the character you want to attune. Close the client then log on the attuner do the deed and log off normaly.

a separate account uses a separate username and password combination. It's very possible to have multiple accounts (I probably have about 20 on my main e-mail).

Make sure you do 'forget' the saved credentials when logging in, so that you can log in on the other account.

I didn't 'forget" the saved credentials thinking I'd lose my main characters information.
I truly appreciate everyone's comments and help.
