So, I got raided last week. And I learned today that the stockades exists. So I went to the guy at the stockades and gave him some evidence, my 500 silver went away but nothing else happened. There was no message indicating that anything had happened nor not happened. The only indicator of anything was my 500 silver disappearing. The wiki wasn't very helpful about it either, so I was just wondering what it is I am misunderstanding? I didn't get any points and there was no new person at the stockades.

Take the evidence and right click the stocks

It was probably someones trash alt.
Justice would be figuring out where is the wrongdoers main and not his disposable alt.

It seems like perhaps I should put a safeguard in so he won't let you validate evidence if the person is already dead.

Just try "use" a scent on a ground near your character, if kremenal is dead you will to have that information/warn about it in System
