No, no bloodmoon (as of this post) and no darkness drain in areas that would otherwise be civilized (light).

pity, hoped they added day cycles... ohh well

Brightness of the environment is not a representation of time in Salem, it is a representation of the level of civilization present in that part of the lumberwoods.
