do you get any error messages? if so post please, also try restarting the computer, deactivating antivirus, firewalls and security tools.

thanks for heads up, but no error messages, turned off avast anti virus, windows defender and firewall, and still no difference, rebbot computer also.

have a win 7 pro operating system that is 32 bit, was working before I changed any of the above settings. Is there a 32/64 bit salem game? Is it a java problem?

Why in the world are you trying to launch the resource file? o.O You need to download either the official .jnlp file, or a custom client's .jnlp file, the launchers so to speak, and launch that.

Hi Lachlaan, Did click on the official title to the game, and is still says the same thing and comes up with the same error! So was not trying to load the resource file !!

Have a screen shot to prove the error
