if it is a really old character, then you may need to log into it on these forums. A whole long time back, the EULA was changed and we would get some weird error (not entirely sure it's this one) until we came to the forums to accept the new EULA.

I'm pretty sure that was before the start of Providence, though, so could it be that your character was on one of the old servers (Roanoke, Plymouth, Jamestown) ?

I get this error message all the time while using your client Latikai.
It happens when I try to log into saved accounts that appear in the top left, and when it's been awhile this message is what I get too.

that does sound more likely. In that case, simply re-enter your password.
This *should* only happen when you have logged into the account on another client (Ender's or default) or another computer, as that invalidates the log-in token you get when the account is 'remembered' by the client.
As far as I am aware, time passed has no impact on this (except maybe in extreme cases).

the EULA change is older than that; so no issue there. Just re-log in through the client (use the 'forget me' button if required) with your username/password.
