So without alloying on average run with the forge nets me 2 bars so with high enough alloying I can get more? Does this work for making wrought or blisterteel?

Alloying sets only boosts smelting.

Bonus from alloying not big. I have alloying set with all buckles, it is about 600 points. And i get 2.8 bars per smelter in average.

Maybe. I do not know best ore / lime ratio, so i use 13/12.

I think alloying set reduces the amount of ore you need. Try 5/20

That is for silver.
Best ratio is 13/12 for iron/copper.
100 points of alloying gives roughly 0.1 worth of a bar. I think TotallyMeow mentioned that in one of the previus talks about it.

Well that makes alloying sets pretty **** then :/
1000 points of alloying for just 1 extra bar? I mean that is just not worth it.

make your set once, profit infinitely from it on iron/copper/silver
VERY worth it.
