Spinning around in combat

Ive been noticing and dont know why but when I go into combat sometimes my characters would just rotate around like a moron and wont move no matter how many times i click or use the WASD.

I notice this a lot when I have some imbalance doing roundkicks but today I was exploring around for snakes and I was watching 4 bunnies take on 3 snakes and i was not involve in combat.

While watching them my character began spinning around like a drunk bastard and would not register any movements commands i issue. All I could do was do an action like stomp or roundkicks before I can regain movement control.

What is the cause of this? Is this intentional? I have gotten myself into lots of trouble cause of this like when I was trying to run away from a cougar and march hare. My character would stop moving and would just spin around like a dummy until I do an attack or click very furiously enough.

Do you use the Latikai client and have auto-face attacker enabled?

There is a disclaimer on the toggle, IIRC.

Weird, it should only react to animals you're actually in combat with.
