Stuck with crime debuff.

Need a quick answer here. There's been a long since abandoned claim near my homestead since I started playing my character a month or two ago. It had a few stockbins on it and I recently learned larceny so I wanted to test it out. The stockbins were right next to the edge of the claim, so I picked one up from off the claim. Now my character is stuck, and can't put the stockbin down. My yellow bile is slowly draining and I'm not excited about being KOd with a crime debuff. Don't really want to be stuck for 24 hours and gain a bunch of insanity. Any help would be appreciated!

Did you make sure you had enough BB to steal it?

1 - You don't have enough yb to put the item you steal outside the claim also you are an idiot for doing crimes with your main, say bye to salem
2 - you will be there 24 hours and then you will die to stocks when someone finds your scents lmao
3 - read guides because this is a perma death game

I ate a bunch of food right before, but I might not have waited long enough for it to kick in. Patience has never been a strength of mine. Thanks for the input. Next time I'll know better.

Thanks for the well thought out and above all, not ***** like, response. Totally helpful and a good representative of yourself and the Salem community.

So my solution to force log off with :lo kinda worked. The crime debuff wore off by the time I KOd so I just got sent back to my base instead of having a 24 hour dirt nap. Thanks again for the help.

Pretty sure it didn't, unless you have over 400 YB. You never were at risk for a 24 hour loop, due to the fact that you were no on their claim. You most likely got KO'd, then after the crime debuff was out, you got send back home.

It's unlikely anyone is going to come around and take the scents you left on the claim because its theft to pick up a scent from my understanding. So if its truly abandoned you'll be fine.

Wrong. Leaving traspass scents will be of no worries if you can kill a criminal

Picking up a scent on a claim leaves a theft sent.

To all justice loving pilgrims, this is not true in the least bit. Collect away!
